		<description><![CDATA[I was just thumbing through the book “A Collection of Encouragements” by Helen Steiner Rice.  I started reading a poem and the last sentence of the poem really resonated with me, especially this time of year when everybody is; just admit it, it is true, in their own little world trying to get through the stresses of Christmas.  So this particular part of the poem reads “So pass no stranger with an unseeing eye, for God may be sending a new friend by.”  Powerful words, so I started thinking about how many people have their faces in a cell phone&#8230;]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[I am sitting here going through pictures, pictures and more pictures because my daughter graduates from college on May 14th.  I am in the process of creating a DVD and this particular DVD is supposed to be a continuation of her life from 16 through college as I created one previously to highlight her life from birth to sweet 16.  As I am pulling pictures, I am feeling so overwhelmed with mixed emotions at how fast time has gone by.  I feel like it was just yesterday when we were celebrating her high school graduation and now, with what seemed&#8230;]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[A few weeks ago, my 9 year old son and I were buying a baby gift in Babies R’ Us.  As we were wandering through the aisles, I could see my son’s wheels turning as he was checking out the items on the shelves.  We were headed down, of all places; the aisles with the breast pumps, when at about 10 decibels higher than the average person speaks, my son says, as he was pointing to the nearest breast pump, “Mommy look, an inhaler for the baby.”  Obviously, he doesn’t know what an inhaler is, but probably just heard mention&#8230;]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[When someone mentions the 5 basic food groups we automatically think about nutrition for every other organ in our body, but what about nutrition for our mind?  Yes, that is right. Our mind needs to be nourished on a daily basis as well.  Just like we have 5 basic food groups in our daily diet, it is safe to say that my daily diet actually consists of 6 basic food groups, with the 6th being books. Reading is an excellent source of daily nourishment for our minds. I would bet it comes as no surprise that my favorite thing to do&#8230;]]></description>
